The commission discussed moving the annual budget presentation to mid-January and presenting it simultaneously to the Select Board and the Finance Committee, rather than staggering delivery as the current charter requires. Members also weighed restoring a second annual town meeting — a fall session focused on zoning and bylaw changes — a practice eliminated in a charter revision members believe occurred in 2012.
