Harwich Golf Committee eyes driving range upgrades as summer season hits full capacity. The committee, meeting June 16 at Cranberry Valley Golf Course, directed golf course director Roman to obtain quotes for refurbishing the driving range tee line — originally installed for approximately $20,000 — and for adding permanent tee holders to address what Roman called the course's most consistent customer complaint. A committee member described a comparable plastic-strip tee system at Ocean Edge Golf Course as a workable model, and Roman said a full replacement is unlikely given upcoming capital costs including a bunker renovation and new building projects.

On the events side, a June 11 member-member tournament drew 120 players, the highest ever, and a New England PGA Super Junior Day on June 29 has already topped 100 youth registrations. Roman reported FY26 revenues are tracking above forecast as the fiscal year closes June 30.
